Recently remodeled, the Hughes House offers great views of Sitka’s ocean and mountains from almost every room. Fully equipped with a spacious kitchen, laundry unit, and a greenhouse full of fresh vegetables and herbs, this property is great for large gatherings or family trips.
The main floor offers 3 bedrooms. The bed set up is as follows: one room with two twin beds, a queen bed in the second and a queen bed in the third bedroom as well. The main floor sleeps up to 6 guests.
IMPORTANT:
The daily rate includes the upper level ONLY. The daylight basement can be added to the reservation for an additional fee for larger groups. This addition offers an additional TV room, two bedrooms that sleep up to 4 guests, and one full bath. The bed set up for the additional two rooms is as follows: one room with two twin beds and one room with a queen bed.
Guests renting just the upper level still have access to the laundry facilities.

We had a great time in Sitka staying at the Hughes House. Great location and clean house. They worked with us on a later check-out that helped us out tremendously.
The house was perfect for our big group. Plenty of room to have your own space plus alone space. Having the smart tv’s were helpful at keeping the kids occupied and the sitting room and view was amazing for adults to chat.

Hughes House was perfect for our family of 4 + Grandma and Grandpa. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was great! Walking distance to 'town' and water front made for lovely views of the boats and eagles. We would definitely recommend Hughes House to others.
This beautiful home was clean and well furnished. We espeically liked that there were multiple siting areas and game room that promoted the comfort of our large group aged 2-72 years of age. The large grassy yard and beauriful view was appreciated as we were gifted with 3 days of clear sunny skies during our stay.
The Hughes House is a great water front property to stay at. Ample room for all our family and friends. Looking out at the boats passing by all day long.
