Located just 2 miles from downtown Sitka, and right across from beautiful Jamestown Bay, Sitka's Rockfish Lodge is the perfect place for friends to gather and share fish tails.

A large open living room and big front porch allows friends to scatter about as they share the catch of the day with a glass of wine and take in an incredible Sitka sunset.

Bedrooms downstairs; one bedroom with two twins, one bedroom w/one twin. Upstairs, two bedrooms with three twins in each. You do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the second.

A 32 inch tv with vcr and dvd, as well as wireless high-speed allows you to relax or work as you need.

Large parking area allows for up to 4 cars, or, the bus stop allows easy acces to shopping as well as sightseeing.

Totem Park entry is located at most a 5 minute's walk and allows a short cut to town.Lichens and mosses in the old-growth forest create a soothing atmosphere for an early morning walk. Trails there wind along the beach, by hand-carved totem poles that tell stories of Alaska Natives. A bridge over Indian River allows you to watch salmon as they work their way up the river to lay their eggs in late summer.

The Rapture Center, located just a few minutes away is also a popular place to visit as you can get up close to various raptures, including eagles, owls and hawks that are being healed and readied to return to the wild.

If you're looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy Alaska's beauty, while still being close to town, this is it!
